Veterinary Technician

Animal Hospital at Babcock is the leading provider of  veterinary care in Southwest Florida for all wellness and sick care. Our hospital is growing and we are looking for some new members to join our team! We welcome all qualified candidates who provide superior patient care and excellent customer service. We are currently hiring for the following positions:
  • Veterinary Technician General Practice 
Technician duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Acquisition of history and vitals
  • Assisting doctors with exams using humane and safe patient restraint
  • Venipuncture, intravenous and urinary catheters
  • Laboratory, radiology (IDEXX equipment)
  • Calculate and administer medications including injections and CRI's
  • Perform anesthesia and assist in procedures.
  • Keep accurate and detailed medical records, including accurate invoicing. Experience with Cornerstone practice software is helpful, but not required.
  • Accurately fill prescriptions
  • Client communication
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
